Bivouac
Since summer 2025, the refuge has had a bivouac area.
This space contains 10 locations.
1 tent = 1 pitch.
Number of people per tent unlimited.
The reservation includes:
- A numbered location.
- Access to the toilets.
The reservation does not include:
- Access to the shelter's bathroom.
- Refilling drinking water.
- Charging electrical devices.
- Picnic room. It is not possible to cook inside the shelter or on the terrace.
The refuge does not provide bivouac equipment.
As water is a limited resource at the shelter, please respect these rules.

Lunch is at 6 p.m. Breakfast is between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.
If the refuge's bivouac area is full, it is still possible to reserve a spot in the bivouac area managed by the natural reserve. Reservations are free and mandatory. https://bivouac.nature-haute-savoie.fr.
No refuge services are offered to bivouacs in the natural reserve.
